01 / THREE WAYS TO BUILD A SKY

Pick your method

All three export the same six-file .tex pack, zipped and named for you.

Clone ×6

The classic. Your image is copied verbatim onto all six faces — same bytes, six filenames. Great for tiling patterns and solid moods.

ORIGINAL

360° Spread

One image, properly split. Each face samples its own region via an equirectangular wrap — so the picture spreads seamlessly around the whole sky instead of repeating.

NEW · TRUE SPLIT

Six Faces

Full control. Upload up, down, left, right, front and back individually — each drops into its correctly-suffixed slot.

Build your sky

JPG · PNG · GIF — packed into a ZIP with skybox naming conventions.

Clone ×6 — the original behaviour. Your file's raw bytes are duplicated into all six .tex slots, untouched.

360° Spread — your image is treated as a panorama and re-projected onto the cube, so each face gets its own slice and the seams line up. Wide 2:1 images wrap best, but anything works.
